Fit To Work Medicals
CBH started life back in 2000/2001 when the government announced the Securing Health Together strategy for reducing the incidences of work related health.
It is important to ensure that all types of employees, including temporary workers, are fit to do their job effectively and without risk to their own health and safety or that of others.
The result will be classified as Fully Fit, Fit With Restrictions, or Unfit directly after the medical is completed.
Coverage
Assessments Covered:
- ✔ A noble med questionnaire to establish any current or previous medical/psychological health history will need to be completed before the medical.
- ✔ Assessment of Alertness and Psychological Well being.
- ✔ Assessment of Mobility.
- ✔ Audiometric Assessment.
- ✔ Blood Pressure.
- ✔ Colour Vision Assessed using Ishihara Plates Test (using at least plates 1 – 21).
General Health Assessment Including:
- ✔ Height and Weight.
- ✔ Urine Dipstick Test to Screen for Disease (e.g. Diabetes / Kidney Infection).
- ✔ Visual Acuity.
